Bright neon or fluorescent colours on custom kart sticker kits have been around for quite some time now and a common sight at most tracks.
After 18-24 months of R&D, Kart Wraps founder, Andrew Green, has taken the leap of faith to invest in a serious upgrade with technology, hired a professional colour consultant plus integrated a new design team, creating some of the most vibrant custom graphics kits in the market.
"If you have a crazy looking helmet designed with metallics and fluorescent colours, well we can just about match and integrate that into your custom sticker kit", says Andrew.
The old way of including fluoro colours was to produce everything in separate layers with cut fluoro vinyl over the top of printed vinyl and then laminating. The same with metallics. It truly was a painstaking process that took hours to do and the options were mostly limited to one special effect.
Our new Hypercharge Colour solution combines unique print technology and a formulated ink system to produce the brightest colours. We can now produce a full colour fade from a fluoro yellow through to an Exprit Kart fluoro orange and CRG / Sodi Kart fluoro red whilst also incorporating special effects into the same design.
White ink is also used for when printing directly onto a metallic and holographic vinyl. By using the sequential print layering and the Hypercharge Colour ink, this method brings out the colours in your sponsors logos when the white is behind, making them "pop" off the surface.
WEIGHT ADVANTAGE
There are a number of drivers out there that are on the limit with their weight in a category and find that running a custom sticker kit can push them over the edge. By not using the layering method, it can save up to 800g of weight. This means you could now have the colour graphics you want instead of just running a kart without stickers. That's a real performance benefit whilst still looking good!
